A:The most effective way for you to prep is to do the tasks we’ll send you each week in a series called Hit Maker Summit Countdown. Once you register, you’ll get an email every Wednesday prompting you to do specific research, subscribe to an industry magazine or, our favorite, watch TV with a particular goal in mind. The tasks are easy, appropriate for every kind of show genre and fun to do. You’ll receive every Countdown task no matter when you register. There’s is no need to finish a script, produce a pilot or sizzle reel, or complete a treatment. In fact, coming to the Hit Maker Summit BEFORE you do your pitch package will save you time, money and frustration. .
Q: How much do I need to have done on my concept before I come to the Hit Maker Summit?
A: Many people make the mistake of thinking their TV show has to be done or they have to have achieved a certain milestone in order to make the most of the program. That’s a big mistake. Even if you are just at the concept stage for all this, you would be well served to learn BEFORE you start doing. I helped one TV show creator save over $57,000 by showing him the right way to do a sizzle reel. But the only reason this happened is that he came to me when his concept was still just an idea. Most people who “wait until they are ready” discover they would have done well to talk to us earlier in the process.
Q: How many show ideas can I bring with me?
A: As many as you like. However, it’s best to focus on one or two at the most at the Summit. We can help you figure out which ideas are the best.
Q: Do you offer a guarantee?

Q: May I bring a guest to the Summit?
A: Yes, you may bring one or more guests for a Partner Registration Fee of only $500 per Partner; this applies to all Registration time periods. We encourage you to bring a guest/partner, as their participation will contribute to the show, help support you and encourage you. Partner Registration is limited to guests who will work with the Main Registrant on the same project; Partner will attend all break-out sessions with the Main Registrant.
Q: I’m a more experienced producer and the Hit Maker Summit seems like it might be for those new to the business. Will I get anything out of it?
A: Yes, you absolutely will. Even the most seasoned producers benefit from pitch coaching. Production knowledge does not mean you know how to pitch. Plus, you’ll be inspired and informed by our industry veteran and award-winning speakers and mentors.
Q: Do you offer a payment plan?

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Should you be unable to attend this event, we require notice in writing (team@sellyourtvconceptnow.com) on or before August 28, 2015 at 5pm, ET. Cancellations made after this date will not be eligible for a refund. All cancellations are subject to an administration fee of $250. All prices are quoted in US$. Your registration may be transferred to another individual at no charge. Q: Do you own any part of my show if I use an idea you give me?
A: When you work with our Team and we give you an idea it is yours to use how you wish.
You retain 100% ownership.
Q: I have a lot going on right now, and I’m concerned I won’t be able to do all the things I’m going to learn from you? What should I do?
A: Everyone feels behind. Everyone feels squeezed for time. We don’t expect you to do everything we teach. But we do want to help you make the most of the time and resources you do have.
