I’m looking forward to the new series Hot Set, where production designers compete against each other to design and build incredible sets.

That’s part of my background. I was a production designer in Hollywood for years before I launched my storyboard studio, then my animation studio and then into pitching and selling TV shows.

I got started at Roger Corman’s studio as the art director for a Charles Band film, Slave Girls from Beyond Infinity. I was designing and building sets at HBO when I met Jeanne. I was the second art director at Nickelodeon’s new Orlando studios.

I can’t wait to see this new show! I’m sure I’ll relive all the good and the bad of running an art department, not having enough time or money, and running into crazy obstacles. But, I have to say that some of my most creative stuff happened when I ran into obstacles.
